Today I have been married to my best friend and first love for 35 and a half years. I think about how it feels like a gnat’s breath of time. I also look at the amazing family we have in our children, grandchildren, their extended families and I am thankful.

We also had the amazing blessings of grandparents, uncles, aunts cousins and nieces and nephews nearby.
Last but not least, we have lived in a community and a church body that held us all together in a truly catechetic neighbourhood where our children were surrounded with solid homes and families everywhere they went.
We have a scripture hanging in our kitchen that pretty much sums up for me what a strong home rests upon. I leave that with you today.

And by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and
To this I say, Amen.
